Responsibilities
Return Center:
Receives and inspects individual and mass order returns in system by entering package information into system and verifies order quantities, data accuracy, customer information, etc.
Inspects and assigns initial stock-in status for package based on the condition of the product and established guidelines. Labels each unit according to the status assigned.
Processes end of life products/accessories and changes stock status in system accordingly. Prepares product/accessories for disposal following proper procedures.
Estimation:
Inspects received product and inputs information into system. Scans bar code and/or enters camera, customer, warranty and other information regarding the repair in the system. Ensures customer receives communication through system regarding the cost and status of repair.
Reviews customer information regarding defects or errors and determines level of repair: minor, major, extensive. Verifies I-product is covered by warranty and applies necessary discounts to repair cost. Keeps incoming tracking label and any customer paperwork/information with units.
PE&S:
Understands areas inspection process flow(s) of product (Check 1, Check 2, Clean & Check, Full Inspection, etc.) Know what function/cosmetic criteria is checked within inspection process.
Stocks-in product and shipped items correctly into storage locations & pull products/items needed to ship. Prepare any items needed to support shipments (i.e.: package materials/cases, SPP/giveaway items, shipping paperwork, etc.)
Deboxes, barcodes and adds new inventory into system with correct information including order information, accessories, account code, and any other information required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 0-3 months product returns, estimation or inventory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Requires passing score on typing test (min 30 wpm).
- Must pass basic computer skills and reading comprehension exam.
