Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Software Engineer Senior in Jacksonville, FL to utilize expertise in designing, analysis and coding and testing of applications using a wide variety of programming techniques and software languages. Responsible for enhancing the product and integrate with existing products that involves .NET/C# and SQL and Sybase. Utilize python/shell scripting, creating/maintaining reports/scripts. Utilize Quickfix, confirm the Orders/Trades done by Broker/Trader are in compliance. Check post trading activity for different OMS flows and creates reports in accordance with FINRA rules. Perform certification and conformance testing including confirming that clients have correctly implemented agreed to FIX specifications. Modify existing databases and design new databases to accommodate the needs of the users. Proactively suggest features to enhance the website for client and make it more user-friendly. Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications. Work with customers to leverage data collected and managed by our system to implement business change. Responsible for creating different tools / Services to enhance Companies deliverables. Perform unit testing, peer to peer testing, integration testing and system testing. Facilitate QA / UAT assistance and coordination. Facilitate Postproduction follow up and support BCP coordination. Analyze and report the data/ records/queries from clients. Enhance the PTC product by introducing/developing new features. Support the current PTC product, by fixing the bugs and by providing the answers to the Clients questions. Provide daily operation status and reports accordingly. Issue investigation, escalation where appropriate, plus resolution ownership. Proactive & reactive real-time monitoring of processes, connections & trade flows. Investigate user queries via log file and process interaction, e.g. order issues, flow breaks, booking issues.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: working with Programming languages including C#, Python, SQL, Windows Scripting, Linux shell scripting; performing Web Development with CSS/HTML/JavaScript/C#/ ASP/JSP/MVC/ Silverlight; utilizing Databases including Sybase ASE, Sybase IQ,MS Sql Server; working with trading systems, equity/options/fixed income domain knowledge; performing software development in Data warehouse, PL-SQL, and report writing; implementing Object- Oriented programming skills to perform implementation of desired tasks; working on Web Based application to create applications; working with Unix, Linux, and Windows environments;

performing coding and design skills; working with Data structures, Algorithms, and design patterns; and working with SDLC tools including GIT, JIRA, Veracode. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree in the above listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above listed skills.
