LRS Acquisition Logistics Specialist

Location: Elizabeth City, NC

Clearance: Active Secret

Provide the USCG Air Logistics Center Long Range Surveillance (LRS) Division with support to research and inventory parts; prepare/track procurements and service requests; and prepare / track shipping and receiving documents.

Draft logistics and procurement documentation and reports as required to aid SRR civilian procurement specialists and item managers in the acquisition and management of parts and materials.
• Assemble, inventory, and maintain material/parts kits as required to support SRR post depot maintenance requirements.

Required:

• Minimum of three (3) years' experience supporting USCG or DOD logistics, maintenance, engineering, and logistics acquisition initiatives. Relevant experience shall be identified as experience obtained within seven (7) years of solicitation release date.
• Proficient in the use of USCG or equivalent DHS/DOD supply management software to include but not limited to: AMMIS, ACMS, ALMIS and FEDLOG.
• Experience in the practical application of acquisition logistics planning tools and measures to include but not limited to: cost estimates, market research, account ledgers, budget and material forecasts, and inventory tracking.
• Experience in managing supply item change records and diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages.
• Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite programs: Outlook, Word and Excel, and know how to use these tools for communication and suitable presentations of research results and recommendations.
• Must be a UNITED STATES Citizen or have the ability to work in the United States of America within thirty (30) days of contract award.
