MRR Embedded Global Positioning System/Inertial Navigation System (EGI) Alignment Technician

Location: Elizabeth City, NC

Clearance: Active Secret

Provide the USCG Air Logistics Center Medium Range Recovery (MRR) Division support to perform and coordinate Embedded Global Positioning System/Inertial Navigation System (EGI) component alignment, positioning, and measurement on USCG H-65 and H-60 airframes, fixtures, and subcomponents.

* Install, align, test and certify EGI systems on USCG and/or DOD aircraft, fixtures, and subcomponents

Required:

* Experience in the installation, alignment, testing, and certification of EGI systems on USCG and/or DOD aircraft, fixtures, and subcomponents with a minimum of five (5) years' experience. Relevant experience shall be identified as experience obtained within ten (10) years of solicitation release date.

* Experience with USCG or DOD maintenance practices and procedures.

* Possess a SECRET security clearance.

Preferred:

* Experience in a supervisory position or in a position requiring independent work is desired.
