Sentara is hiring a Pharmacy IV Technician for Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, NC!Sign-On Bonus up to $5,000 offered to qualified candidates!

Status: Full Time, 40 hours

Location: Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, NC

Work hours: Rotating shift and will work any of the following shifts per week below:

  • 0630 to 1500

  • 0700 to 1530

  • 1230 to 2100

  • 1430 to 2300

Weekends (approximately every 3rd weekend) and holidays required.

Job responsibilities:

Prepare sterile and non-sterile medications under the direction of a pharmacist. Responsible for managing the drug distribution system and providing technical support in all aspects of the delivery of safe, effective, patient focused and cost efficient drug therapy. Performs all functions of Pharmacy Technician I & II positions.

Required qualifications:

  • Virginia Pharmacy Technician license REQUIRED

  • 1 year Pharmacy Technician experience REQUIRED

  • Pharmacy Technician Registration Number and Pharmacy Technician Certification Board(PTCB) OR NHA Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) REQUIRED
