Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as Director, Operations and Ancillary Services.

Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift

Position Location: This position is in person at Sentara Leigh Hospital.

Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).

Minimum Requirements:

• Master's Degree required.
• 5+ years management experience required.

Expectations for this Role:

Sentara Health is seeking Director, Operations and Ancillary Services. As the Senior Director - Operations and Ancillary Services, this position is a member of the administrative team and will serve on various committees of the hospital. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, the Senior Director will be a leader of leaders with Director level reports overseeing ancillary services, while also focusing on campus master planning and strategic development.

In partnership with the VP, Operations this position will collaborate with Sentara leadership, administration, medical staff and medical staff leadership. Assumes responsibility and accountability for strategic planning and success of assigned areas of responsibility. Coordinates the development and marketing of new services and strategic planning for assigned areas of responsibility. Contributes to the success of the hospital through achievement of system, hospital and departmental goals and objectives. Build strong, collaborative relationships with the medical staff community, maximize efficiencies with inventory and equipment management established by Sentara.
