Position Highlights The School of Government & Public Policy (SGPP) is seeking a short-term summer session teaching positions. The Summer Session Instructor position is part-time, non-tenure eligible, non-benefits eligible, and will provide instruction within the area of International Relations.

Located in the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences, SGPP is one of the largest schools at the University of Arizona and is uniquely situated to serve as a new model for political science and public affairs education by promoting high-caliber research, teaching, community outreach, and civic leadership.

By offering leading programs in political science, international relations, public policy, and public management, SGPP prepares men and women for leadership positions in the public and nonprofit sectors.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Instruct undergraduate students in field of Political Science.
  • Hold office hours.
  • Plan class lectures and assignments.
  • Grade papers and exams.
  • Assign projects.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree in related subject relevant to class assignment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD in related subject relevant to class assignment.
