Overview:

Wackenhut Services, Inc., (www.wsihq.com) a premier provider of security protective force, fire, EMS, and facilities management services to government and private sector clients, has an immediate opening for a Translator/Interpreter that will be assigned to our overseas contract in Iraq, Afghanistan or Israel.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include performing Translator/Interpreter duties as required, perform the day-to-day protective security functions as specified in daily post and detail orders; driving the lead vehicle (auto, boat, Etc.), principal’s vehicle, or follow-vehicle, whenever required in motorcade or similar operations; driving follow-vehicle and/or acting as response agent and participating in advance security preparations.

Qualifications:

Qualifications include:
a. U.S. Citizen
b. proficiency in Arabic/ Kurdistan and English
c. Minimum of one (1) year experience in protective security assignments. Experience can be gained in the employ of any national, State/Provincial, Local or commercial entities providing high threat protective services.

Candidates selected will be subject to a Government Security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Background investigation and drug screening also conducted.
